You can find Belcon Engineers Pvt. Ltd. over at A 9 in the New Sonal Industrial Estate. We are right on Saki-Vihar Road, basically opposite the John Baker bus stop, which makes it pretty easy for our workers to get here in the morning. Being in an industrial estate means it’s always loud and there’s always a lot of movement with trucks and vans coming through. We handle various engineering projects inside our unit. It’s a decent-sized space but it feels smaller once you fill it up with all the machinery and materials we need. The office part is just a small corner where we handle the paperwork and phone calls, but most of the action happens out on the floor. It’s a lot of manual work and technical stuff that requires a bit of patience. We’ve been at this location for a while now and have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. The traffic on Saki-Vihar Road can be a real headache in the evenings, but we’re used to it by now. We don’t go in for anything flashy. Our focus is just on getting the engineering jobs done right so they can be sent out to wherever they need to go. It’s a dirty job sometimes, with plenty of grease and metal scraps, but that’s the nature of what we do. We just try to keep things moving and stay on top of the orders that come through the door every week.
