You will find Bec Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. on the first floor of the Victoria Building. We are right on S. A. Brelvi Road in the Fort area. It is one of those old Mumbai buildings with high ceilings and thick walls. Working here feels a bit different because of the history of the neighborhood. The office is full of files and old desks that have been used for years. We deal with chemicals, mostly on the administrative and trading side from this location. It is a busy part of town, so there is always the sound of taxis and people shouting outside our windows. We do not have any polished lobby or modern art on the walls. It is just a workspace where the team handles orders and keeps the ledger books updated. Most of us take the train in, so the morning rush is a big part of our daily talk. We have been at this location for a long time, and we have seen the streets change quite a bit. We are not a big, cold corporation. It is more of a tight-knit group where we know who is having a bad day and who has got good news. We just focus on getting the chemicals moved to where they need to be without making a big fuss about it. There is a lot of paperwork involved in this business, so we spend a lot of time at our desks. It is just honest, everyday work.
