You can find us at Beams House, which is over in Vile Parle East, right near the Orchid Hotel. Being close to the hotel makes it easy to give people directions. The hospital is basically its own building, which we just call the house. It’s a busy place with a lot of movement throughout the day. We have various floors and departments, and there’s always someone running up or down the stairs with a clipboard. Vile Parle is a great neighborhood, but the traffic near the airport and the hotels can be a real nightmare sometimes. We have a team of people who have worked here for years. We aren't really into the whole corporate culture thing even though we have "Pvt Ltd" in the name. At the end of the day, we are just a group of people working in a building trying to help sick folks. The breakroom usually has a few half-empty packets of biscuits and a kettle that takes forever to boil. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall. We just show up, put on our scrubs, and do what needs to be done. It’s often loud, sometimes stressful, but it’s our daily life. The building looks like many others in this part of town, but we try to keep it as orderly as possible for the patients.
