Bayer Cropscience India Ltd.

We are based at Bayer House in Hiranandani Garden, Powai. It is a nice enough area, though the traffic in Powai can be a real headache some mornings. At Bayer Cropscience India Ltd., we deal mostly with things related to farming and seeds. The office is usually humming with the sound of people talking to distributors or scientists. It is a big building, but we try to keep things grounded. A lot of the work involves looking at charts and making sure the supplies are getting out to the rural areas where they are actually needed. We are not trying to be anything we are not. It is just a place where people come to work and help manage the agricultural side of the business. The lunchroom is usually where you hear the most honest talk about how things are going. We have people from all over working here. Some have been here for decades, and others are just starting out. We do not have any fancy mission statements hanging on the walls or anything like that. We just focus on the task at hand. Sometimes the computers slow down or the meetings go on too long, but that is just part of the job. Most of us are just regular folks trying to make sure the crop science stuff gets handled properly without any unnecessary drama. It is a steady environment with plenty of work to go around for everyone who works in this office.
