Batra Brothers

Batra Brothers is located at 2, Bhagya Laxmi, near the Kennedy Bridge in the Opera House area of Grant Road. This part of Mumbai is famous for being a hub for all things related to cars and machinery. Our building is one of the older ones, and the shop itself is a bit cramped. We have boxes of parts stacked nearly to the ceiling in every room. It’s a family-run business, and we’ve been here for many years. The streets outside are always packed with people, carts, and vehicles, so it can be quite a struggle just to get to the front door. We don't have a modern showroom with bright lights. Instead, we have old wooden counters and fans that have been humming for decades. Most of our day is spent looking through old catalogs or searching the shelves for a specific part someone needs for an old engine. We don't bother with fancy advertising or polished sales pitches. People come to us because they know we likely have that one odd item they can't find elsewhere. The noise from the bridge and the station nearby is constant, but it’s just the sound of the city to us. We’re just a couple of brothers and some staff doing what we’ve always done. It’s a bit messy and chaotic sometimes, but that’s just how things are at the Opera House. We’re happy being a small, reliable part of this busy market.
