Batliboi International Ltd. is over at 15 J.N. Heredia Road, right in the heart of Ballard Estate. This part of Mumbai has those old, grand stone buildings that make everything feel very historical. Our office is inside one of those. It has high ceilings and big windows that let in all the city sounds from the street below. It’s a bit different from the modern glass towers you see in other parts of the city. We deal with international trade and machinery, so there’s a lot of talk about shipping routes and customs. The office is usually humming with the sound of several conversations happening at once. We’ve got some old wooden desks that have probably been here longer than most of the staff members. It’s a busy place, but we try to keep it friendly and relaxed. You’ll often see people standing in the hallways chatting about the weekend or the latest news. Being in Ballard Estate means we have plenty of good places to walk to for a quick bite or some hot chai. The parking around here is always a nightmare, so most of us take the train and walk from the station every morning. It keeps us on our toes. We aren't big on flashy advertisements or trying to impress people with fancy lobbies. We just do the work, keep the records straight, and make sure the business keeps moving forward like it always has for years.
