Batham Transport

Batham Transport is based at 114 Bhandari Street on Zaver Road. This part of the city is very busy, and the narrow streets make moving trucks around a real challenge. We have been doing this for many years. Ledgers and maps fill our small office. Most of our time goes into coordinating where the vehicles need to go and checking the drivers' schedules. Phone calls and dealing with delays are constant parts of the job. Zaver Road is always crowded with people and handcarts, which makes loading and unloading a slow process. Instead of a big fleet, we have just enough to keep things moving. Dust from the street outside often covers the office walls. Drinking a lot of tea helps while we wait for news about the deliveries. If a truck breaks down, we have to find a mechanic quickly. The job is stressful, but we are used to it by now. Most shopkeepers on Bhandari Street are people we know well. Old-school methods like calling the drivers work better for us than fancy tracking apps. Getting the goods from one place to another without too much trouble is the goal. Every day brings something different in the transport business. Dealing with the weather and the traffic is just what we do until the job is done. We just keep our heads down and handle one load at a time.
