Basf India Ltd has a spot here in Kalyan at Flat No 107 in the A Wing of Radheya Chsl. We’re on Karnik Road, which is a fairly well-known part of the West side. It’s a residential building, but we’ve set up our office here to handle the local side of the business. It’s not your typical industrial office. It feels a bit more like a home, which we actually like. We handle a lot of the paperwork and coordination for construction chemicals from this little space. Most of our work involves talking to people over the phone and making sure supplies are getting where they need to go in the 421304 area and beyond. Kalyan is a big place and it's always growing, so there’s plenty of work for us. We don’t have any big marketing teams or anything. It’s just us and our computers and a lot of logbooks. We try to keep things running smoothly without too much drama. The building is usually quiet, so we can get our work done without many distractions. We’ve been here for a bit now and have a good handle on how things work in this neighborhood. We don’t use fancy language or try to sound like a big multinational company when we’re just sitting in a flat on Karnik Road. We just do our work, talk to our customers, and make sure the chemicals for the buildings are sorted out. It’s a simple setup but it works for us every day.
