Basf - India Ltd

We are located on the first floor of Rhone - Poulenc House over in Worli. If you’ve ever been to S.K. Ahire Marg, you know it can get pretty hectic with the traffic. Our office for Basf - India Ltd isn't anything special to look at from the outside, but it’s where we spend most of our waking hours. We have a lot of desks squeezed into the space and the air conditioning is usually running a bit too cold. Most of us take the bus or the train and then walk the rest of the way. It’s a lot of sitting at computers and dealing with phone calls. We try to stay organized, but with so many things happening at once, the desks often end up covered in piles of paper and half-empty water bottles. The windows look out onto the street, so we see the city moving all day long. Sometimes we go downstairs for a quick snack from the vendors on the corner when the afternoon slump hits. We don't really do the whole corporate jargon thing. We just have jobs to do and we try to get through our lists before the end of the day. It’s a steady rhythm. The elevators in the building are sometimes a bit slow, so a lot of us just take the stairs to the first floor. It keeps us moving. It’s just a regular office life in a busy part of Mumbai.
