Barc Hospital

People around Anushakti Nagar know us as the place inside the Barc Colony. We are located right in the Trombay area. It is a large hospital that has been around for quite some time now. Mostly, we see the employees who work here and their families who live in the colony. It stays pretty busy from the morning hours when the out-patient department opens up. You will see a lot of people waiting in the corridors. We have different wards and sections for various medical needs. The building itself is older, but it serves the purpose for everyone living in this part of Mumbai. Sometimes the queues get long, especially on Mondays. We just try to get through the day and help the people who come in. It isn't a fancy private hospital with carpets or anything like that. It is just a regular place where people come when they aren't feeling well or have an emergency. The staff here mostly lives nearby too, so it feels like a small community within the hospital walls. We handle everything from basic checkups to more serious things that require staying overnight. It is a quiet neighborhood usually, but the hospital area stays active around the clock with nurses and doctors changing their shifts. That is just how life is here. Every day brings a new set of challenges but we are here to deal with them as they come along. It is a part of the local landscape now.
