Ketki's International

You can find us over at D-29 in the Elco Arcade on Hill Road. It’s a busy spot in Bandra West, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. Almeida Park is just a short walk away, so sometimes we head over there just to get some air during the afternoon. The arcade itself has been around for a long time and has that old feel to it. Our space is tucked inside, and it’s usually packed with whatever stock we have coming in that week. We don’t have a lot of extra room, so things are stacked pretty high on the shelves. Working at Ketki's International means dealing with the constant noise of Hill Road traffic outside. It’s a lively neighborhood and there’s always something happening right outside the door. We spend most of our time answering the phone and packing up items to go out. The lighting in the arcade isn't the brightest, but we have our own lamps inside to see what we are doing. Most people who come by are locals who know the shortcut through the building. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we get new deliveries, but we make it work. We try to keep things organized, though it gets a little messy when we are really busy. It’s just a regular workplace where we keep our heads down and do the work.
