Band Of Works

Our office is Flat No C/3 in the Sheetal Building, which is over in Borivali West. We are quite close to the Saibaba Temple, so it is a peaceful enough area to work in. Band Of Works is a small group of us doing different types of jobs. We chose to work out of a flat because it feels more comfortable than a cold corporate office. There is no big sign out front or a receptionist waiting to greet people. It is just a regular living space that we have turned into a place to work. Usually, there is some music playing and someone is making a pot of tea in the kitchen. We don't really have a set way of doing things; we just take on projects as they come. Some of us might be working on one thing while others are doing something completely different. It keeps the day interesting. We don't use any of those big business phrases you hear a lot. We are just trying to do good work and pay the bills. Borivali West is a nice neighborhood to be in, and being near the temple gives the place a good feel. Sometimes the building gets a bit noisy with neighbors, but that’s just part of being in a residential block. We like it this way. It is practical and doesn't feel like we are part of some giant machine. We just do our thing together as a small team.
