Balvi Metal Works

Balvi Metal Works is located at No 329 in the Bonanza Industrial Estate. We are right off the Sabarmati Highway in Kandivali East. The estate is always buzzing with activity and there are always trucks moving in and out. Our unit is on the ground floor, which makes loading things much easier. Inside, you will find a lot of tools and scrap metal piled up in the corners. It is a bit dusty because of the grinding work we do. We have a small desk near the entrance where we take calls and talk to visitors. The walls were painted blue once, but they have faded to a sort of grey over the years. We have a heavy iron door that we keep open during the day to let the air circulate. It gets very hot near the machines, so we have a couple of large pedestal fans blowing all the time. There is a tea stall just outside the main gate where we go twice a day. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time. We don't have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they saw our sign from the highway. It’s a gritty place but we like it. We focus on the work on our benches and try to stay out of the heat.
