Balaji Tempo Service

Our office for Balaji Tempo Service is on the 3rd floor over on 80 Feet Road in the 2nd Block of HRBR Layout. It is right opposite the Shiv Sena Shakha which makes it easy for people to find us when they are looking for the place. Being on the third floor means we see a lot of the street action from above. The Jogeshwari East area is always moving and the noise from the 80 feet road never really stops until very late at night. We have a small desk where we keep the logs for the tempos and a bench for the drivers to sit on when they are waiting for their next turn. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep so we do not get many casual visitors, mostly just people who really need to talk about moving stuff. We handle the paperwork manually for the most part because that is how we have always done it. There is a small shrine in the corner with some faded pictures and a lamp we light every morning. The paint is peeling a bit near the window because of the rain last year but it does not bother us much. We just focus on getting the vehicles out on time. The drivers usually congregate near the Shakha across the road before they head out. It is a simple setup without any unnecessary decorations or comforts.
