Bakul Press

Bakul Press is located at Shop No 602 in the Shanti Niketan building. Our shop is right on the Rahatani Link Road in the Kalewadi section of Khar West. It’s a very busy road, so there’s always a lot of traffic and noise outside our door. Inside, it’s even louder because our printing machines are usually running from morning until late in the evening. We do all the standard stuff like business cards, letterheads, and those little booklets for local shops. The smell of ink and paper is everywhere, and my hands are usually stained with blue or black ink by the end of the day. We’ve had this shop for a long time, and we know most of the people who live and work in the Shanti Niketan area. We aren't a high-end design studio; we just do practical printing that people need for their daily lives. Sometimes the power fluctuates and we have to wait for the machines to reset, which can be annoying when we have a deadline. We keep piles of different paper stocks around, so the place looks a bit cluttered, but we know exactly where everything is. My younger brother handles the billing while I look after the machines. We just try to do a decent job for a fair price. If you need something printed, you just come in and tell us what you need and we will sort it.
