Bachubhai Munim Company

Our office is in Nariman Point, at 312 212. Even though this area is known for all the big banks and tall glass buildings, Bachubhai Munim Company is a lot more old-school than that. We are munims, so our life revolves around accounts, tax dates, and keeping track of money for different businesses. We have been doing this for a long time, and the way we work hasn't changed much even as computers became more common. We still like our physical registers and the feeling of a pen on paper, though we do use the machines now to keep up with the times. The office isn't very large, and it’s often piled high with files that need to be sorted. Being in Nariman Point means we see the ocean sometimes if we walk out to the main road, but mostly we are just staring at numbers all day. It’s quiet work, mostly. We don't do a lot of advertising because our clients have been with us for years, and they know where to find us. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, and we have to walk the stairs, which is a good bit of exercise I suppose. It’s just a regular office where we try to stay on top of the paperwork so our clients don't have to worry about it.
