Baaji Diamonds

Baaji Diamonds is located in the Ahemad Building, at Room No. 64. We are on Gunpowder Road in the Mazgaon area. It’s an old part of town with a lot of character and history. Our room is not very big, and it’s filled with the tools we use for checking and sorting diamonds. There is a lot of noise from the trucks and traffic on the street below, but we get used to it after a while. The building itself has seen better days, the paint is peeling in some places and the elevator is a bit moody. We mostly work under high-powered lamps on our desks. It’s a job that requires a lot of patience and steady hands. My partner and I have been working together for about ten years now. We started small and we are still pretty small. We don’t have a big marketing budget or a fancy entrance for the shop. You just walk down the hallway and find our door number. Most of our clients are people who have been referred to us by others. We sit here and look at stones for hours at a time. Sometimes our eyes get tired, so we take a quick walk down Gunpowder Road to get some fresh air. The work is hard but it pays the bills for us. We don't have any big corporate goals. We just want to make sure the work we do is correct.
