B M C Dr R N Coper Hospital Gulmohar

Our hospital is right on Gulmohar Road in the Irla section of Vile Parle West. It is a big place and it can be quite a lot to take in if you are visiting for the first time. We are a BMC hospital, so we serve a huge range of people from all across the area. The corridors are long and there are always people walking back and forth between the different departments. It is not a quiet or calm place, to be honest. There is a lot of noise from Gulmohar Road and the general bustle of Vile Parle West coming in through the windows. We do not have any fancy decorations or a lobby that looks like a hotel. It is a very functional, practical building that gets a lot of use every single day. The doctors and nurses are usually in a hurry, moving from one ward to another to keep up with the number of patients. We spend a lot of time just directing people to the right rooms or the pharmacy. The wait times can be long, but that is the reality of a busy public hospital in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. There is always a lot of paperwork to fill out and the staff stays busy from the start of the shift until the end. It is just a regular part of the neighborhood where we help out whoever comes in.
