B 2000 Telecom

If you walk down Ghatkopar East Station Road, you’ll eventually find B 2000 Telecom at S 30. Being right by the station means it is always loud. There’s the sound of the trains and the crowds of people rushing to get home. We’ve been in this little spot for a while. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with phones and cables and those little plastic cases everyone wants. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the repairs and the sales. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use the backup lights, which makes the whole place look a bit dim. We don’t use those big polished slogans. We just tell you if we can fix the screen or not. The station road is a great place to see the city move. We get people from all walks of life dropping in because they dropped their phone on the platform. We keep it simple. There’s a lot of competition around here, but we just focus on our own counter. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure your phone works so you can call your family. It's a living. We like the energy of Ghatkopar even when it's exhausting. We just stay here and do what needs to be done for anyone who walks inside the shop.
