You can find us at Azo Hotels Private Limited on the 43rd floor of the Orchid Enclave. We are in the A Wing, and the building is located on Jahangir Behram Marg near Mumbai Central station. Being so high up means we are away from the street noise, which is nice because Mumbai Central is always loud and chaotic. The office is just a set of rooms with some computers and a lot of paper stacked on the desks. We spend most of our time dealing with hotel-related tasks, but it is more about the logistics and the back-office side of things than anything else. It’s not a polished corporate environment at all; we have boxes in the corners and some plants that we sometimes forget to water on the weekends. Our team is small, and we’ve worked together for a long time, so we know how each other likes to work and when to stay quiet. The commute is okay if you take the train, but the walk from the station can be very hot in the afternoons. We tend to keep to ourselves and focus on the work that comes across our desks each morning. Lunch is usually a quick affair, maybe some fruit or something from the local canteen downstairs. We don't have big goals of changing everything; we just want to make sure the records are right and the bills are paid on time. It is a plain and simple office life on the 43rd floor.
