Azelis India Pvt. Ltd. is up on the fifth floor of the Palm Spring Centre. Most people just know the building because of the Croma store right below us on the Link Road. It is always loud and crowded in Malad West, especially with all the construction and the traffic that never seems to stop during the day. We get into the office pretty early most days just to beat the worst of the morning rush. The space is okay, nothing too fancy, just some desks and computers and a lot of files stacked up here and there. We spend a lot of time talking to people on the phone and trying to keep things organized. Sometimes the AC makes a weird rattling noise, but you just get used to it after a while. Living and working in Mumbai means you spend a lot of time just dealing with the environment, like the high humidity and the constant noise from the street. We have a small pantry where we make our own tea, which really helps when the afternoons start to feel a bit long. Being on the fifth floor gives us a bit of a view over the neighborhood, but mostly it is just other tall buildings and the long line of cars below. We don’t really do anything flashy here at all. It is just about getting the work done and making sure we are on top of our daily tasks before we head home. We’ve been at this address for some time now and it finally feels like home in a way. Even when the elevators are slow, we don't mind much anymore.
