Ayub Restaurant

Ayub Restaurant is located at Shop Number 5 on Dr V B Gandhi Marg in the Fort area of Mumbai. This part of the city has a lot of old charm and history. We are quite close to where the old Rhythm House used to be, which most people in Mumbai still remember well. Being in Fort means we get a lot of office workers coming in during their lunch breaks. The building is old, like most of them in this neighborhood, and the ceilings are high. We have a small space, so things can get a bit tight when the clock strikes one and everyone leaves their offices at the same time. We have been here for a long while and haven't changed much. The wooden tables and the way we serve the food stay the same. Outside, the streets are filled with lawyers, bankers, and tourists walking around looking at the old architecture. Inside, it is just about the food and the quick service. We don't have a big fancy menu, just the items we’ve been making for years. The kitchen staff knows the routine by heart. It’s a bit noisy and fast-paced, but that’s just life in South Mumbai. We open up in the morning, get the preparations done, and wait for the first customers to walk through the door. It’s a basic, busy place for hungry people.
