Awesome Cut Saloon

We are located at Shop No 6, inside 59 Haji Mansion on 5th Road in Khar West. It is right across from the Hotel Jewel Palace, which makes it easier for people to find us if they haven’t been here before. Awesome Cut Saloon is a small place, really. We have got the old-style chairs and the mirrors that reflect the street outside. Khar West is a busy part of Mumbai, and there is always something happening on 5th Road. You can hear the rickshaws and the cars all day long while we are working. We do not have much in the way of decoration, just the basics for cutting hair and keeping things neat. Most of our regulars have been coming to Haji Mansion for years. They know where to sit and they don't expect anything fancy. We just get to work with the scissors and the razors. The shop can get a bit cramped when there are three or four people waiting, but we have a couple of stools along the wall. Sometimes we run out of tea when it is busy, but there is always a stall nearby. We like being across from the hotel because the area stays lively even late at night. It is just a normal barber shop where we work hard and try to keep the floor swept between customers. Mumbai life is fast, but here at Shop 6, we just take one haircut at a time until it is time to close.
