Our office is located at 202 Masjid Gomtipur, which is on the second floor of Swasti House. It’s a busy area and the building always has people moving around. Being on the 2nd floor means we are a bit away from the street noise, but you can still hear the trucks and the shouting from the market below. Gomtipur is a real working part of the city, and Swasti House has been our base for quite a while. We spend a lot of time with paperwork and talking to the drivers. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit steep, but we don't mind them much. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and some chairs and a lot of files stacked up. We deal with goods and moving things, so it’s always a bit hectic. Some days the traffic outside is so bad that nothing moves for hours. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the Masjid area over the years. It’s a tough place to work sometimes, especially in the heat, but it’s where we belong. We know the other people in the building pretty well. Swasti House is an old building but it serves us well. We just come in, do our work, and head home like everyone else in Gomtipur. It’s a practical place for a business like ours, and we like being right in the thick of things. There is always a lot to manage, but the 2nd floor is where everything happens.
