Aussee Oats Milling

We're over here at Nariman Point, in the Mittal Tower building. It's a busy part of the city, and our office is in the C Wing. Most days, we’re just keeping things moving with the oats. It’s not just about the office work though, because the milling side of things takes up a lot of our attention. We deal with farmers and shipping schedules all the time. Sometimes the traffic outside is a nightmare, but we’ve been here long enough that we’re used to it. The team is small, just a few of us making sure the orders go out and the quality stays where it needs to be. We don't have fancy decorations or anything. It’s mostly desks, computers, and samples of grain sitting around. People come in to talk business, and we just give it to them straight. There’s always something to fix or a phone call to take about a late shipment. We just try to get the work done before the day ends. Living and working in this part of Mumbai means you’re always on your toes. We focus on the milling process and making sure the supply chain doesn't break down. It’s a lot of coordination between the plant and this office. We don't spend much time on fancy talk, we just keep the oats moving from the field to the bags. It is pretty much a standard routine here most days.
