Aum Designers Printers

I’ve been coming to Thosar House every morning for a long time now. Aum Designers Printers has been here on Hanuman Cross Roa in Vile Parle East since I can remember, and if you know this area, you know how busy it gets. My desk is usually covered in paper scraps and different ink samples. Sometimes the machines are so loud I can’t even hear my own phone ring. People walk by the window all day, and I recognize most of them by now. It’s not a fancy setup, just a practical space where we get things done. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but there is always too much work to stop and do that. I spend a lot of time looking at fonts and colors on the screen until my eyes get a bit blurry. Vile Parle East has changed a lot, but this little corner feels the same. We have a small kettle in the back for tea, which helps during those long afternoons when the humidity is high. Sometimes the delivery guys struggle to find the entrance because of the traffic on Hanuman Cross Roa, so I end up waving them down from the door. It’s just how things are here at Aum Designers Printers. We don’t have a big corporate lobby or anything like that. Just some old chairs and the smell of fresh print. It’s a lot of manual work, making sure the edges are straight and the colors don’t bleed.
