Atlas Engineering Works

Atlas Engineering Works has been sitting here in Bhandup West for a good number of years now. We are right in the middle of Janta Market on Subhash Road, so it is always noisy and crowded outside our doors. The shop isn't much to look at from the street, just a plain front with some old signs. Inside, it is mostly just grease, metal scraps, and the sound of machines running. My father started this place a long time ago, and we have just kept it going the same way. We do a lot of small repairs and custom metal work for people who live around here or have other shops in the market. It is hard work and my hands are usually dirty by ten in the morning. We don't have a fancy office or a receptionist. If you come by, you will probably see us working on a lathe or welding something in the back. Sometimes the power goes out in the market and we have to sit outside and wait with a cup of tea from the guy next door. We don't try to be anything we are not. We just fix things and make parts that people need for their own businesses. It is a simple life in a busy part of town, and we are fine with that. Most of our customers have been coming to us for decades because they know where to find us.
