Ateen Beauty Parlour

Located near Bibi Talav in Andheri East, our parlour is a small, cozy spot. It’s where local women come to get their threading done or maybe a facial when they have some free time. The place is filled with the smell of creams and hair products. We have a few chairs and a small area behind a curtain for more private stuff. It isn't a big, expensive salon you’d find in a mall. It’s much more humble than that. We know our regulars by name and usually know what they want before they even sit down. There’s often a lot of talking and laughing going on while we work. The space is a bit tight, especially when we have a few people waiting, but we make it work somehow. We have some posters on the walls showing different hairstyles, though most people just stick to what they know. The street outside is always busy with people going to and from the market. We try to keep the inside feeling calm and welcoming for everyone who enters. It’s just a few of us working here, and we take pride in doing a tidy job. Whether it’s getting ready for a wedding or just a regular touch-up, we’re here most days of the week. It’s a local business run by local people who just enjoy what they do. We usually have some tea around four o’clock while things quiet down for a bit.
