Astute Trades

Astute Trades is located in room C-509 at Shirin Sohrab Palace on Nariman Road in Vile Parle East. It’s a residential-feeling area but we’ve got our office tucked away in the building there. We do a lot of trading, which basically means we buy and sell things all day long. It sounds simple but there is a lot of keeping track of prices and talking to suppliers. The office isn't very big, so we all know each other's business and there’s always someone talking about a new deal or a change in the market. Being in Vile Parle is nice because it’s a good neighborhood with plenty of places to grab lunch. We aren't some massive company with a lobby and a receptionist. When you come to see us at Shirin Sohrab Palace, you just walk in and we are right there at our desks. We like to keep things straightforward and honest. We don’t have any polished slogans or mission statements stuck on the walls. We just come in, do our trading, and try to make sure everything balances out by the time we leave for the evening. It’s a small team and we like it that way because it makes communication much easier. We just focus on the trades and leave the corporate stuff to the people in the big glass buildings downtown. It's a living, and we work hard at it every single day here.
