Astra Chemtech Private Limited is up on the third floor, at No. 306 in the Nav-Vivek Industrial Estate. It’s right on Mogul Lane in Mahim West. If you've ever walked down that lane, you know it's a tight squeeze with all the cars and delivery vans trying to get through. Our office and storage space is a bit cramped, honestly. We have shelves all the way to the ceiling filled with bottles and containers. It’s mostly paperwork and coordinating things over the phone. Sometimes it feels like we spend half the day just moving boxes around so we can find what we need. The building is older, so the elevator can be a bit moody, and we often just take the stairs. Being in Mahim West is good because we are close to everything, even if the traffic is a nightmare during the rains. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s just a few rooms where we handle the chemical supplies and talk to our regulars. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background to drown out the noise from the street below. Every evening we lock up and join the crowd heading toward the station. It is a simple operation and we try to keep things organized despite how busy the area gets.
