Associated Cement Companies Ltd. operates out of Cement House. It is a big old building at 121, Maharshi Karve Road. People around here just call it Cement House because it’s been there for so long. We handle a lot of the paperwork and coordination for cement from this office. It’s not a warehouse where you’d see bags piled up, but more of the place where the real planning happens. The road outside, Maharshi Karve Road, stays pretty packed during the day. We’ve got desks, filing cabinets, and people who have been working here for decades. It’s a bit old-fashioned inside, but it works for us. We don't use a lot of flashy stuff. Usually, we are just busy with phone calls or sorting out delivery schedules for different projects. The building has its own history. You can feel it when you walk through the main doors. It’s a solid place. We aren't trying to be something we aren't. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the cement gets to where it needs to go. Sometimes the traffic makes it hard to get to the office on time, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot from our windows at 121. It’s a steady job in a steady building. It’s just what we do every day of the week.
