If you’re ever around Nariman Point, you might have seen the Arcadia building. That’s where we are, specifically at number 96. Asoam Power Controls Ltd. is what we call ourselves. Being in Nariman Point is quite something because it’s always so busy with people in suits and cars everywhere. Our office isn't huge, but it’s where we manage everything related to power controls. We spend a lot of time looking at diagrams and talking to people about their electrical setups. The elevators in Arcadia can be a bit slow during the lunch rush, so we usually just stay put or bring our lunch in. It’s a professional area, but we try to keep things simple in our own office. We’ve been at unit 96 for a good stretch of time. It’s a lot of coordination and making sure the control systems are doing what they should. Even though we’re in a big famous building, we’re just regular folks doing a job. The view outside is nice, but most of the time we’re too focused on the control panels or the paperwork to notice. It’s a fast-paced environment at Nariman Point, and we just try to keep up with the daily demands of the power industry from our little corner of Arcadia. It's a busy life but it's what we do. We don't have any fancy mission statements, just a lot of work to get through.
