ASIATIC WELDERS

You can find ASIATIC WELDERS over in Marol, Andheri East. We’ve got a space at Plot No 21 in the Rainbow Industrial Estate. It’s on Road No 23, right opposite the SEEPZ MIDC area. This part of Mumbai is always humming with work, and we’re right in the middle of it. We do welding work, mostly for the other businesses around here or for people who need something metal fixed or put together. It gets hot in the shop, especially during the summer months with the torches going. We wear our masks and just get on with it. The floor is usually covered in scrap metal bits and sparks. We’ve been at this location for a long time. Road 23 stays busy with trucks moving in and out of SEEPZ, so there’s always noise. Our setup is pretty basic – we have the machines, the gas tanks, and enough space to move larger pieces of iron or steel around. Sometimes someone brings in a broken gate, other times it’s a part for a machine from one of the nearby factories. We don’t have a fancy office or a secretary. If you want to talk to us, you just come into the estate and look for Plot 21. We’ll likely be in the middle of a job, so you might have to wait a minute for us to put the torch down. It’s hard work, and the smell of burning metal is always around. We like the pace.
