Asian Roadways

We operate out of the Shah Transport Agency area over in Andheri East, specifically at Satellite Park. It’s a busy hub for transport companies, so there are always big trucks moving around and people shouting instructions. Our office, Asian Roadways, is right in the thick of it. It’s a practical space designed for work, not for looking good. We have logbooks all over the place and the phone rings pretty much constantly with updates on where the drivers are. Andheri East is a hectic part of the city, but it’s the best place for a transport business. We deal with lots of different routes and various types of cargo. Some days it feels like a puzzle trying to get everything scheduled correctly. We don’t have a polished corporate image. Our clothes are usually a bit dusty from being around the loading docks, and the office floors are never perfectly clean. We just focus on making sure the goods get from point A to point B. It’s a lot of coordination and dealing with traffic delays. We know the roads well and we know how to handle the challenges that come up. It’s a tough business, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we know the ropes. Most of our time is spent talking to people on the radio or marking off lists. We stay until the last truck is accounted for at night. It is just the way we have always done things here.
