You can find Ashu Engineering inside the Pannalal Compound on LBS Marg. Our place is Gala No. 1062. Anyone who knows Bhandup West knows how busy LBS Marg gets at almost any hour of the day. The compound itself is home to a lot of different businesses, and we’ve been tucked away in our corner here for a long time. It’s an engineering shop, so don't expect it to be spotless. There’s always bits of metal, some oil on the floor, and the hum of machinery. We do all sorts of mechanical work and custom fabrication. Most of our regulars are other businesses from around Mumbai who need things made to specific sizes. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of sales people. Usually, when the phone rings, it's one of us picking it up while holding a wrench or standing by a lathe. The work is dusty and loud, but it’s what we know. We take pride in the fact that we can figure out tricky problems that come our way. The space is a bit old, but the machines work well and we know how to get the best out of them. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks of the day. It’s a humble way to make a living, but it’s honest work. We just keep going, making sure we stay busy and keep the machines running. We finish up the work, clean the tools, and get ready for the next day's orders.
