Ashok Trading Company

Ashok Trading Company is located over in Kalbadevi, right near Oxford Village. If you know the area, you know it gets quite crowded during the middle of the day. We have been working out of this space for quite some time now. It is mostly just a lot of boxes and paperwork on the desks. We deal with trading different goods, and the phone rings quite a bit. Sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to hear, but we manage. It’s a practical setup. We don't have fancy furniture or a big reception area. Most of the time, we are just busy checking orders or talking to the delivery guys who pull up outside. The Oxford Village area is a good landmark for people trying to find us. We keep our doors open when the weather is nice, though the dust from Kalbadevi can be a bit much. It’s a local business through and through. We know the neighbors and the tea stall guy nearby. Life here is mostly about getting the work done and making sure the inventory matches what we have on the books. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. It's more about being on your feet and moving stuff around. Every day feels a bit different depending on what arrives in the morning. We just keep at it and hope the rain doesn't leak through the side door again.
