Ashok Trading Co

We are situated in Girgaon, specifically near the 11th Cross on Hosur Main Road. It’s a bit of a mixed-up area with lots of small businesses tucked away in different corners. We’ve been operating this trading company for quite some time now. The space is mostly filled with boxes and different items we’re trading at the moment. It gets quite cramped when a new shipment arrives, and we have to move everything around to make room. Trading is mostly about timing and knowing who needs what. We spend a lot of our morning calling around to see what prices are doing and who has stock available. Girgaon has a very specific energy, very local and very busy. You see the same faces every day, from the tea stall guy to the other traders on the street. We don’t have a big polished showroom or anything like that. It’s just a functional space where we get the job done. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move goods, so we have to wait it out under the plastic sheets. It’s a lot of physical work combined with keeping the books straight. We don’t use any complicated systems, just pen and paper mostly, and the occasional look at the computer. Most of our customers are regulars who have been coming to this part of the city for years. We just try to stay organized and keep the inventory moving so nothing sits for too long.
