Ashok Goods Transport Service

You can find Ashok Goods Transport Service at the ground floor of the Ahadkhan Building, right in the Bombay Conon Mill Estate on Govindappa Road. It's a busy area and things are always moving around here. The office is tucked away in unit number 2, and honestly, it gets quite loud with all the activity outside. We spend our time managing the transport of various goods that come through this part of the city. It isn't a glamorous job by any means. There’s a lot of dust from the road and we are constantly checking logs and schedules. Some days are much longer than others, especially when a shipment is running late or a truck breaks down somewhere on the highway. We’ve got a small team and everyone just pitches in where they can. It is mostly about keeping the goods moving from point A to point B. We don't have any high-tech systems or fancy lobby furniture. Just a few desks and a lot of registers that we fill out by hand most of the time. The tea stall around the corner is basically our second office since we're always grabbing quick drinks between calls. It’s a practical place for practical work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the work we do stays pretty much the same. Most of our day is spent dealing with drivers and trying to figure out how to get through the city traffic. It's simple work but it keeps us busy from morning till night.
