Asha Photo Frame Maker

I’ve been here at MIG Building No 6 in Dhake Colony for a long time now. People around Andheri West know where Asha Photo Frame Maker is if they need something framed. I don't do anything fancy, just wood and glass mostly. It gets dusty in the shop, but that’s how it is when you’re cutting frames all day. My father started this, and I just kept it going because it's what I know. Sometimes the corners are tricky to line up perfectly, but I take my time. I’m usually here from morning until the sun goes down. If you walk down Nagardas Road, you'll see the shop. It's not a big place. Just enough room for the saws and the finished frames leaning against the walls. I've seen the neighborhood change a lot from this spot. Customers bring in old photos of their grandparents or sometimes new stuff they bought online. Every frame tells a bit of a story, I guess. I don't have a website or anything like that. Just the shop and the tools. If you need a frame, you just come by and we talk about the size. It's simple work but it keeps me busy. The traffic on Nagardas Road is always loud, but I don't mind it anymore. It is just home to me. I've got my tea stall nearby and my regular customers who stop by just to chat.
