Arya Hospital

You can find us on the 1st floor of the Om Shivecchya building. It’s right at the Dhanukarwadi junction where Link Road and MG Road meet. If you know Kandivali West, you know how loud and busy that junction is every day. The traffic never really stops and the honking is constant. We’re up one flight of stairs. The building is a typical Mumbai structure, a bit older with a lot of character and some stains on the walls. We’ve got a view of the signal from our main office window. It’s a bit cramped because space is tight in this part of town, but we make it work. We have the wards partitioned off with curtains and a small consultation room. The nurses are always on the move between the beds. We get a lot of people who are just passing through the junction and need something checked out. The lift works most of the time, but the stairs are usually faster if you’re in a hurry. We keep our supplies tucked away in every available corner we can find. It’s a bit of a maze if you’re not used to it. The staff is used to the humidity and the constant noise from the street. We have our lunch at different times because there’s no big break room for everyone. We just do what needs to be done. It’s a busy life here in Kandivali.
