Arun Road Transport

Our transport office is located in the Allaudin Compound over in Andheri. We are up on the first floor of building 63, which is part of the RNA Complex area. It’s a busy industrial kind of place with a lot of movement all day long. You’ll see plenty of trucks and tempos coming in and out of the compound at all hours. Our space is pretty basic. We have some desks, a lot of logbooks, and a phone that doesn’t seem to stop ringing some mornings. It’s a bit dusty because of all the construction and vehicles nearby, but that’s just life in a transport hub. We spend a lot of our time coordinating with drivers and making sure the loads are where they need to be. It’s not the kind of job where you sit still for long. There’s always someone coming up the stairs to drop off papers or ask about a delivery. We’ve been in this compound for a while now, so we know the other businesses around us pretty well. We don't really do any fancy marketing; we just rely on the fact that we’ve been here doing road transport for years. It’s a lot of manual tracking and hoping the traffic on the highway isn’t too backed up. We just try to keep things moving as best as we can from our little office on the first floor. It is a noisy place but it feels like home.
