Arthritis Care Center

We have been running the Arthritis Care Center here in Santacruz West for quite a few years now. Mumbai is a busy place and the 400054 area is no different, with people always rushing around. Our clinic is a simple spot where we deal with people who have trouble moving or just general aches and pains that come with getting older. It is not a shiny corporate office. We have standard chairs in the waiting area and a desk that has seen better days. Usually, the morning starts with the sound of the traffic outside and the staff getting the files ready. Sometimes the tea man comes by and we take a quick break before the next person walks in. It gets quite humid in the afternoons, so we keep the fans going at full speed. People from the nearby blocks know us well. We don’t do a lot of fancy advertising or anything. Most folks just hear about us from a neighbor or see the sign while they are walking to the market. It is a bit of a walk from the main station but it is manageable. We spend our time looking at joints and talking about what can be done to make things easier for the patients. There is always a lot of paperwork to handle, which can get a bit messy on the desk. That is just how we work here. It is a local place for local people.
