Our shop is Shope No. L-282, which is inside Dreams The Mall on L.B.S. Marg in Bhandup West. It’s a bit of a walk to get to our unit if you don’t know the mall layout well. We keep a lot of medical and surgical supplies here. It’s a quiet kind of business because we mostly deal with doctors, clinics, and people who need specific items for recovery after a surgery. The shelves are packed with boxes of different sizes. It’s not a glamorous shop. There are no bright lights or music playing. We just have the items people need for their health. Sometimes a family comes in looking for something their doctor told them to get, and we help them find the right size or type. We’ve been in the mall for a while now. The location on L.B.S. Marg is good because it’s a main road, but the mall itself can be a bit confusing for first-timers. We spend our time checking expiry dates and making sure our stock is what it should be. It’s a serious kind of work because people rely on these supplies to get better. We don’t do any big advertising. Word gets around among the local medical community, and that’s how we stay busy. It’s just me and a helper most days, keeping the records straight and helping whoever walks through the door to find what they need for their recovery at home.
