Dr. Praveen Tayal

If you are looking for Dr. Praveen Tayal, the office is over in Santacruz East, Mumbai. We are in C-10 of the Silver Vally Apartments No. 2, right in Shivaji Nagar. It is very close to the Vakola Bridge, so the sound of the Mumbai traffic is something we hear all day long. The apartment building is a bit older, and our space is basically a converted flat. It makes the whole environment feel very personal and less like a cold institution. We have a small waiting area and a couple of rooms where we do our work. It can get pretty cramped during peak hours, especially with the humidity, but we make it work. Living and working in Mumbai means being used to small spaces and a lot of noise. We do not have any grand signs outside, just a small plate with the name on it. We spend our time seeing people, writing notes, and dealing with the usual administrative stuff that comes with running a practice. There is no corporate polish here; just some simple furniture and the necessary equipment. We like the fact that we are tucked away in a residential building rather than a high-rise office block. It keeps things grounded. We just show up every day, deal with the bridge traffic, and do our jobs for the people who come to see us.
