Arogyam Hospital

You can find us right here in Kanjurmarg East, which is a place that never really seems to quiet down. Our hospital is situated among the busy streets and all the new buildings going up around us. It’s a bit of an older structure, so it has that lived-in feel that some people find comfortable. The entrance gets a lot of foot traffic from the nearby railway station area. Inside, the walls are painted a simple off-white, and there’s always that faint smell of cleaning fluid in the air. We have a small reception desk where the phone rings pretty much constantly throughout the day. The staff is always moving, carrying files or checking on patients in the different wards. We have a mix of long-time residents and newer folks who moved here for work coming in for help. Sometimes the waiting room gets so full that people end up leaning against the walls while they wait for their turn. It’s not always perfectly quiet, as you can hear the traffic from the main road outside, but we do our best to keep things orderly inside. Our equipment isn’t the newest in the world, but it’s well-maintained and does the job it’s supposed to do. We don’t put on any airs about being a top-tier luxury facility. We’re just a local hospital trying to take care of the people in Kanjurmarg East the best we can every day.
