Arochem Industries

Arochem Industries is over in Goregaon East, specifically at 103-A in the Commerce Centre. We are part of the Gujarat Industrial Compound on Vishweshwar Nagar Road. It is right off Aarey Road, which anyone around here knows is a nightmare for traffic during rush hour. Our office is a modest space in an older building. It smells a bit like old paper and the industrial materials we deal with. We spend most of our time coordinating between the manufacturers and the clients who need our chemicals. It is a lot of back-and-forth on the phone. The Commerce Centre is a busy place with lots of small businesses like ours, so there is always someone moving boxes in the hallways or shouting for a delivery driver. We have a small staff and we all do a bit of everything, from answering the phone to checking the inventory. We don't have a fancy lobby or a coffee machine that makes lattes. We just have a kettle and some local tea. The work is steady and sometimes a bit repetitive, but it keeps us going. We’ve been in this compound for years and have seen many businesses come and go. We just keep our heads down and focus on the orders we have to fill. It is a gritty, hardworking part of Mumbai and we fit right in with the other shops here.
