Arihant Engineering. We are based in Kandivali West. The address is Plot No-A 404 in the Akshar App 2 building. It’s on Iraniwadi Road No. 3. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze being in a building like this. We have to be very smart about where we put our machines. Mumbai is like that, you just have to make do with the space you have. The street outside is always bustling with people and vendors. There’s a lot of energy in the air. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work. Things like precision parts and repairs. It’s mostly manual work at our benches. We don't have a lot of big automated stuff. The rain during the monsoon can be a real problem. We have to keep the doorway blocked so the water doesn't come in. It gets very humid inside. We usually have a few fans going to keep the air moving. Our customers are mostly local. They just drop by with a drawing or a broken part. We don't have a big corporate structure. It’s just me and a couple of helpers. We have our lunch in the shop. Sometimes we go out for a quick tea. It’s a busy life but we wouldn't have it any other way. We just try to get the work finished on time and make sure everything fits as it should.
