Our office is on the fourth floor of Rawal Chambers. If you know Samuel Street in Vadgadi, you know it’s one of the busiest places for trading. The building is old, and the stairs are narrow, but it’s where we’ve been for years. Being in the dye and chemical business means we deal with a lot of different suppliers and traders every day. The smells of the street, with all the spices and chemicals being moved around, are something you just get used to. Inside our space, it’s mostly just shelves full of samples and a lot of ledgers. We still like to keep track of things on paper alongside the computers. It’s a bit cramped, especially when we have a lot of stock coming in or going out. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. Most of our business happens through old-fashioned networking and being reliable. Sometimes the traffic in Vadgadi is so bad that even a small delivery takes hours, which can be frustrating. We just take it in stride. The staff here are like family; we’ve worked together through plenty of ups and downs. We aren't trying to be fancy or sound corporate. We are just a local business trying to do our work properly and keep our regular customers happy. It’s a simple, hardworking atmosphere that suits the way we like to do things.
