Our office is tucked away in Masjid Bunder West, specifically inside the Rajabadur Building on the second floor. Our unit number is 128/132. If you know anything about this part of the city, you know how incredibly crowded the streets get because of all the wholesale markets nearby. It is an old area and our building reflects that, with its high ceilings and those heavy wooden doors that have been there forever. We spend most of our time here coordinating truck schedules and managing various deliveries. It is all about the logistics for us. We have been based in this neighborhood for a long time, so we know every shortcut and corner around here. The noise from the street below is constant and it doesn't really let up until the sun goes down. We have a small, dedicated team here, just a handful of us sitting at desks that are usually covered in ledgers and delivery receipts. You won't find any fancy furniture or expensive decor in our space. We mostly rely on the old ceiling fans to keep us cool, and we leave the windows open to catch whatever breeze we can. We handle a wide variety of cargo types every single day. Each morning begins with a long list of what needs to be moved and which driver is available to take the job. It can be a real puzzle sometimes, especially when it rains and everything slows down to a crawl. We just keep moving forward.
