We spend most of our days up here on the first floor of Sambhav Darshan. It is located at 226 Raja Ram Mohan Roy, which is usually quite busy. Our workshop is where all the diamond work happens. We have been here for a good number of years and most of our neighbors know us by now. Some days are quieter than others, but there is always a piece of jewelry needing attention. We handle the diamonds carefully, sitting at the benches for hours. It gets a bit cramped sometimes with all the tools and small parts laying around. Getting to No. 6 means walking up the stairs, but it's not a bad climb. We started this because we liked working with stones. It isn't a fancy place with big carpets or anything. Just a regular office where we do the actual work. You can hear the traffic from the road outside if the window is open. We drink a lot of tea while we look at the stones under the light. Sometimes a customer brings in an old ring that needs fixing, and we see what we can do. It's just a small team here. We don't have a big front desk or a receptionist. It's a simple life.
